This professional membership organization is dedicated to the advancement of sleep medicine and related research. The group's web site includes information on sleep disorders as well as contact information for accredited sleep centers.

American Insomnia Association 
Provides resources for insomnia patients.

American Sleep Apnea Association
The ASAA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing injury, disability, and death from sleep apnea and to enhancing the well-being of those affected by this common disorder. It offers information on sleep apnea via brochures, a newsletter, and videos. It also operates a network of some 200 support groups throughout the United States.
