Vital Voices
Vital Voices is an international non-government organization that believes in the transformative value of women’s participation in society. With a team of over 1,000 partners and pro bono experts, Vital Voices works to identify, train, and empower emerging women leaders and social entrepreneurs around the globe. Vital Voices is at the forefront of international coalitions to combat human trafficking and other forms of violence against women and girls. We enable women to become change agents in their governments, advocates for social justice, and supporters of democracy and the rule of law. We also equip them with management, business development, marketing, and communications skills to expand their enterprises, help to provide for their families, and create jobs in their communities. Because no nation can reach its full potential without half of its resources, Vital Voices makes the case that investing in women is not just the right thing to do - it’s the smart thing to do. A decade after we began our work, Vital Voices has witnessed the exponential impact of empowering women. Since 1997 we have trained over 5,000 leaders in 150 countries across Asia, Africa, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
